Under the Sun website! We are the specialists in teen adventure travel in Costa Rica for multicultural groups from all over the world! With more than eight years
of experience, a lifetime in Costa Rica and run by an international
team of adventurers, we know how to provide you with the most memorable,
educational and AWESOME experiences.
Adventures Under the Sun (AUSun - pronounced "awe-sun"
as in the word "awesome") offers scheduled programs and summer camps for
teens coming from Costa Rica and abroad or "tailor-made"
programs for student groups within or traveling to Costa Rica. The
locations of all our programs can vary from a "backcountry",
wilderness environment that involves setting up camp every night
in remote destinations to a "frontcountry" environment
that includes travel to various unique, wilderness lodges. On all
scheduled or "custom-made" programs, participants partake
in a variety of exciting educational, adventure activities like
surfing secret spots, paddling kayaks to deserted beaches, horseback
riding on the flanks of a dormant volcano, or rafting emerald rapids.
Our unmatched experience in Costa Rica speaks for our staff's ability
to fine-tune our programs to the needs and demands of today's youth.
Additionally, our trip leaders focus on encouraging leadership and
the exploration of a new world and new feats, as well as teaching
about tropical environments and issues through hands-on activities
and games. On an AUSUN program, participants will learn so much
about themselves, and the world beyond their borders as they make
many new friends!
