Community Service, Vibrant Volcanoes, Ravenous Rivers, Caribbean Seas and lots of flavor!


Day 1 – Arrive in Costa Rica, transfer to hotel and introduction to travel itinerary.


Day 2 - Travel to the Poas Volcano National Park and gawk at the breathtaking views and explore the lush forests. Continue on towards Sarapiqui stopping en route  to see several spectacular waterfalls and beautiful wildlife gardens. In the afternoon learn to cook local tasty treats and move to local beats!


Day 3 and 4 – Spend two days doing social community service projects like reforestation, small business development, environmental education or construction with local families and schools. A home stay experience is also available. 


Day 5 – Shuttle to the Pacuare River for an exhilarating and refreshing day of white water rafting on class III+ rapids on an emerald green river lined by primary forests. Finish the day traveling to the white sand beaches of the Caribbean coast.


Day 6 – Rent bicycles and ride to a remote beach to snorkel tropical reefs or surf sensational waves. Celebrate the last night with some Carribean flavors and salsa in Puerto Viejo!!


Day 7 – After some relaxing moments on beach, travel back to San Jose for trip closing.


Day 8 – Fly home.
