Welcome to Adventure Kids Day Camp, a week-long fun and learning experience for boys and girls ages ages 6-12 in Costa Rica’s Central Valley. Directors, Carol Weir, Mélida Barbee, and Robert Pitts are looking forward to a great week, so come and join the fun!

Camp Hours
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parents drop their children off in the mornings at the Adventures Under the Sun office in Escazú and pick them up there in the afternoons. Email us for directions to the Adventures Under the Sun Office near Escazu Centro.
Cost
$130 ($125 for siblings). Includes a camp t-shirt and all supplies and entrance fees. Registration is due by June 28, You can register for camp in our office or via email (which we check every day) and direct bank deposit. Email us for details. Activities
Most of the fun will take at a private farm near University for Peace in Ciudad Colón, with field trips to the U Peace park, a private swimming pool and a day trip. We will do nature-related arts and crafts, play sports and games, sing camp songs and do skits.
Languages
English and Spanish. We always have children who speak no or limited Spanish and others who speak limited English. All staff members are bilingual and activities are explained in both languages. Camp is a great opportunity for your child to use his or her “second language” with new friends.
What To Bring
Campers must bring the following daily:
-Packed lunch. There is a small store available that provides cookies and drinks -Hat -Tennis shoes (no sandals) -Bathing suit and towel in daypack, for our swimming day.
